Our Story

Clifford Beauchain learned his trade in Vermont working alongside his father as a home improvement specialist. In 1996 he moved to California, to the San Francisco area, at the request of a family friend who needed renovations to his home. This family friend was new to the San Francisco area and did not know any local contractors, but he knew he could depend on Cliff to take care of all his renovations needs. Tina, his future wife, joined him there from Vermont and they founded Beauchain Builders Inc. For the next two years they worked on home improvement projects for other family friends and referrals from those family friends. In 1998, Clifford and his now wife Tina, relocated to Northern Virginia at the request of another family friend. This friend was new to the Virginia area and did not know any contractors. She offered the Beauchains the same deal as the other family friend. All travel expenses paid including housing while renovations were ongoing. Beauchain Builders did a complete house renovation with an addition and their successful business took off from there. They purchased their own home in 2001 in Virginia and have continued to build their business with mostly word of mouth advertising. They have 2 daughters and 1 son who are active in school, sports, and modeling which keeps them busy. Tina’s sister Monita and her brother-in-law John (her other sister, Melody’s husband) also work for Beauchain Builders Inc. Today, we are a full service family owned and operated contracting company serving the families of Northern Virginia.
